Few days ago, I needed few important documents to be notarized by the authorities of the Indian Government, for facilitating my Work Permit Visa here in the States. Since I have no relatives in India, I had to find a way of getting my work done, accurately and immediately without my presence required in India.

This had to be sweetest thing I had heard of till now. My room-mate Aliyah arranged a cute themed farewell party for her boyfriend. You may be thinking, "this doesn't sound like anything new?" Well, Aliyah is in Philadelphia, her boyfriend is in Hyderabad. He got a job transfer, which required him to move to Mumbai, leaving back his friends and family. Since, he and Aliyah have survived a long-distance relationship, they have come across many ups and downs. This also meant that Aliyah would go any lengths to see him smile!

Sahara Care House helped Aliyah in this little secretly-planned farewell for him. She discussed her requirements with them such as the number of invitees, food, ambience, budget and theme. They helped her in choosing a banquet hall and finalising the evening's plans and she did not have to budge from her home.

Aliyah and her boyfriend were thrilled! He was extremely overwhelmed and touched by this special gesture from his girlfriend who lived miles away, while she was more than happy to make him feel special.

A marriage surviving 25 years of ups and downs…where do you see it now-a-days? A  couple - very much in love celebrated 25 years of their marriage last Monday. That couple was my Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, I could not be present to revel in the celebration as I had my mid-terms going on. Neither could my brother go, as his Boss did not permit him leave. They are in India, while my brother and I are in the States.

My brother came up with this brilliant plan of throwing them a surprise party with close friends. With help from Sahara Care House's personalised services, we were able to do exactly what we wanted. Their event management team was very efficient in organizing the party according to our specifics like budget, crowd, food, ambience, etc.

The dinner party was held at Le Meriden and I must mention the commendable arrangements made by the Sahara team. Thanks!
